A dazzling painting with many glazes of pure pigments colours using earth ochres, oranges, greens and the precious azurite pigment. When looking at this piece, one can be lost in the effect of light on the pigments and as if looking into the heart of the universe with its multi-facet of colours and light. This painting has 8 layers of studio made gesso and over 20 layers of glazes of paint. It’s varnish with studio made beeswax to deepen the colours and protect the surface.

The original painting is on 1.8cm deep birch plywood panel. The sides of the painting are plain wood and it is ready to hang. The work is signed at the front and at the back.
