Shipping

UK Orders

We currently use Royal Mail signed and tracked services for shipping orders within the United Kingdom.

Once you put you order you will get an email with a tracking number to track you package.

If your package gets lost in transit we will do everything we possibly can to assist you. We cannot be held responsible for packages once proof of delivery is generated.

If your package requires a signature, we are not responsible for any charges incurred for refused packages, and/or packages requiring signatures that were not picked up from access points in a timely manner. In the case a package is refused and/or returned to us, the fees to re-ship the original package will be invoiced to the customer.

All orders within the UK are free shipping on certain sizes.

International orders

All orders shipped internationally are final sale.

At this time, we use TNT and Royal Mail to ship all intentional orders.

Once you put you order you will get an email with a tracking number to track you package.

Prior to purchasing, please email info[at]mernaliddawi.com and we'll be happy to give you a specific shipping quote based on your order and location.

Please note that for international orders, any taxes and duties due upon delivery are the sole responsibility of the purchaser.


Return/exchange

We are committed to ensure 100% satisfaction of all my art collectors! That’s why once you’ve receive an original artwork, you have (7) seven days to decide whether or not you’d like to keep the artwork or return it for an exchange of another work, commission or a refund.

You may return any original artwork or exchange it for another, provided that it’s returned in its original condition and packaging.

The return guarantee in NOT applicable to the following final sale items.

1.      Limited Edition Prints

2.      Commission Artwork

 

Original Artwork Return Policy

From the time you receive your original artwork, you have seven (7) days to decide whether to keep the work or return the artwork in its original condition for a refund.

We also require all returned artwork to be shipped out by the buyer within five (5) days after confirming with us that the work will be returned. So, if you receive the artwork you’ve purchased from Merna Liddawi and not fully satisfied, you have:

Seven (7) days to contact us about your intent to return the work

Seven (7) days from the day you contacted us to ship out the work. Do not ship the artwork before contacting us first.

If you don’t notify us of your intent to return the work within 7 days of receipt or you do not ship the work within 7 days of notifying us, you will NOT be eligible for a refund. (Some exceptions will apply. Please contact us for an assessment of your specific situation).

 

How to return original, undamaged artwork:

 Step 1- Within seven (7) days of your artwork delivery date, please email info[at]mernaliddawi.com to give the reason for wanting to return the work.

Step-2 Repackage the artwork using the original packaging materials. If you’ve already disposed of the original packaging, you’ll be responsible for purchasing packaging materials to send the artwork back safely.

Once the artwork reaches us safely and is inspected, we will process your return and the amount owned will be refunded to your original source of payment as your original order (minus shipping cost) within 7-10 business days of your artwork return or we will send you the exchanged item. (We’re not responsible for any exchange rate fees). We will refund you the price stated. 

 

Who pays for return shipping costs?

The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and for insurance on the value of the artwork in case of damage.

  

Commission Artwork

There is no refund on all commission artwork. See full commission terms

A separate commission contract will be provided with terms and conditions for all commission.

Do you offer a payment plan?

Yes I do offer a payment plan for paintings over the value of £1000. Email me to work out a payment plan that fits your needs. I require a minimum of 40% deposit to reserve the painting, then the outstanding balance is to be paid by monthly instalments that we can discuss. The painting will be delivered once the payments are paid in full.
