Shipping and Return Policy
I’m committed to ensure 100% satisfaction of all my art collectors! That’s why once you’ve receive an original artwork, I’ll give you (7) seven days to decide whether or not you’d like to keep that artwork or return it for an exchange of another work, commission or a refund.
You may return any original artwork, provided that it’s returned to me in its original condition and packaging.
The return guarantee in NOT applicable to the following final sale items.
1. Limited Edition Prints
2. Commission Artwork
Original Artwork Return Policy
From the time you receive your original artwork, you have seven (7) days to decide whether to keep the work or return the artwork in its original condition for a refund.
I also require all returned artwork to be shipped out by the buyer within five (5) days after confirming with me that the work will be returned. So, if you receive the artwork you’ve purchased from Merna Liddawi and not fully satisfied, you have:
Seven (7) days to contact me about your intent to return the work
Five (5) days from the day you contacted me to ship out the work. Do not ship the artwork before contacting me first.
If you don’t notify me of your intent to return the work within 7 days of receipt or you do not ship the work within 5 days of notifying me, you will NOT be eligible for a refund. (Some exceptions will apply. Please contact me for an assessment of your specific situation).
How to return original, undamaged artwork:
Step 1- Within seven (7) days of your artwork delivery date, please email firstname.lastname@example.org to give the reason for wanting to return the work.
Step-2 Repackage the artwork using the original packaging materials. If you’ve already disposed of the original packaging, you’ll be responsible for purchasing packaging materials to send the artwork back safely.
Once the artwork reaches me safely, I will process your return and the amount owned will be refunded to your original source of payment as your original order (minus shipping cost) within 7-10 business days of your artwork return. (I'm not responsible for any exchange rate fees). I will refund you the price stated.
Who pays for return shipping costs?
The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and for insurance on the value of the artwork in case of damage.
I am not responsible for any customs fees or duty that may be incurred during shipping or hold-ups due to customs control.
There is no refund on all commission artwork. Once the buyer agrees and signs the commission contract then the buyer agrees to pay 50% deposit of the agreed price before commencing the painting. The other 50% will be paid once the painting is finished and before delivery. If after the painting is finished or during the process of painting, the buyer doesn't want the painting anymore, the artist keeps the painting and the 50% non-refundable deposit paid.
A separate commission contract will be provided with terms and conditions for commission.
